About Us

Binghamton University is home to the Kappa Lambda Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi. We are the first business fraternity on campus and have proudly represented the University for 41 years, beginning in 1981. Since then, we have had over 1000 members join and contribute to our extensive network of professionals and an everlasting brotherhood.

Core Values

Brotherhood is a relationship that lasts a lifetime. Delta Sigma Pi holds a commitment to a diverse brotherhood that welcomes people from all backgrounds. Our brothers create a bond that is unique to the fraternity and reflective of our collective passions to achieve goals in the business world.

As a professional business fraternity, we bear a strong culture of professionalism, and our brothers have continually found success in a wide variety of industries. From investment banking to software engineering and everything in between, we provide an invaluable network of support and knowledge in the professional world.

As brothers of Delta Sigma Pi, we believe it is our duty to protect the community we live in and give back. Not only does helping our community bring positive change, but it also strengthens our bond. We, then, feel rewarded and humbled to be able to make a difference through our initiatives.

A Word From Our President

On behalf of the Kappa Lambda Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi, I’d like to thank you for your interest in the brotherhood of Binghamton’s premier co-ed business fraternity. Delta Sigma Pi has a long history of complementing Binghamton University’s success and growth. As Binghamton grew, so did our fraternity. As the oldest and largest professional business fraternity on campus, we strive to continue our storied tradition of excellence through brotherhood, leadership, and academic success by creating an environment that surrounds you with other high-achieving students and pushing them to their greatest ambitions.

As a professional business fraternity, we provide exceptional students with the opportunity to catalyze their growth, catapulting them forward to great heights while refining the skills and mindset needed for lifelong success. Whether you’re a prospective banker, an aspiring product manager, have not a clue what you want to do, or anything in between, we’ll be there to provide you with the tools you need for success. Our alumni network is unlike any other, spanning organizations from Google, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley, and Paramount to organizations like the Peace Corps, the Red Cross, and beyond. If you’re looking for a place where you can surround yourself with like-minded individuals with a passion for maximizing their potential, this is the community for you.

But above all else, we are more than just a line on a resume or a post on LinkedIn. We are a brotherhood. We emphasize connection—bonds forged through friendship, talent, and memories that will last a lifetime. We strive to cultivate a community of individuals who ask not only what can be done for themselves but also what they can do for the people around them. Every single member of our fraternity has benefited from the people who stood before them, and that value still rings the same. When we say it’s more than four years, we mean it. Our goal from the earliest days of our inception to every brother that will ever be is the continuance and growth of our amazing community. From the giants who founded our chapter to the leaders who graduated, every brother here hopes to leave Binghamton a better place than when we arrived. There’s an old saying that goes: “You only live once, but if you live it right, once is enough.” I hope everyone lives the life they want, and I highly encourage you to attend our Fall 2024 recruitment week!

You can always reach out to me with questions, opportunities, or to simply connect at brandonchang2178@gmail.com.

Best,

Brandon Chang
